I wanted to show you how these two techniques get different results. It’s been awhile since I had snow dyed, and it was fun to see how they look side by side.
So here are the two shirts dyed with Celedon. On the left is the ice dyed shirt. On the right is the snow dyed one.

Now for the Wedgewood Blue.

The Celedon ice dyed shirt doesn’t show much blue compared to the snow dyed. However, the Wedgewood Blue looks pretty similar. Snow dyed gives a little softer design, but I love both of them.
Next up is the Mermaid’s dream I had ice dyed awhile back and wasn’t happy with it. Then I over snow dyed it with Cerulean Blue. On the left is the one I ice dyed and the right is that shirt but over snow dyed it with the blue. I love that the blue has pushed the green back. Now I’m much happier with it!

I also snow dyed a shirt with Indigo which isn’t made up of different colors other than blue to break out. It’s nice, but I’ll probably print on it in the future.
Well, that’s all for now. The snow is gone and today it’s 55 degrees. I’m itching to get out and clean up the gardens. Hope all is well with you, and you can take some time to be creative.

That’s interesting how different they are. I haven’t done either technique, but I love your results!
